Shetland graphic story teller, Rhys Mouat, has created daily drawing prompts called “Art Souls” - an inspired mashup between his own comic series Reigniting Flame, the popular Dark Souls video game series, and the annual Inktober drawing challenge.
Rhys has been publishing his drawings each day throughout October 2021. He invited others to join in the challenge and create their own responses to the prompts using #ArtSouls hashtag.
Gaada has marvelled as Rhys’ illustrations have brought to life this unique franchise/universe cross over rendered in fittingly bleak, fiery tones. With the artist’s permission, Gaada has collected below his complete series of drawings from this past month - enjoy!
