A Very Special Open Day

Come and celebrate Gaada’s 5th Birthday as we fling open the doors to officially relaunch the Toogs Artist Workshop after HIE’s capital investment……. and of course share work from the past year in our annual group exhibition MAK A LAANG ERM!

Pop by Burra to see exhibitions by local and international artists in orbit around the Toogs Artist Workshop and wider Gaada galaxy. The workshop’s outdoor vitrine and flag provides four micro-exhibitions each year, available 24/7!

When possible Gaada facilitates extra, special projects outwith our programme. As long as we can add value to work which positively impacts our community, and we have the capacity to do so - we do so!

Building Materiality

Architecture collective Assemble will be in residence at the Toogs Artist Workshop, as they develop a new hyperlocal island building material to be used in the future reimagining of the Toogs Artist Workshop.
