2023/24 Bursary Recipients
It’s that time of year again!
We are delighted to announce the 2023/24 Workshop Bursaries recipients are…..
✨ Becky Robertson
✨ Sophie Williamson
✨ Chloe Tallack
✨ Louise Mouat
This is the fourth year of running Workshop Bursaries, and it is not getting any easier! This year there were 20 applications from Shetland Artists, which demonstrated once again the incredible breadth of creative practice present across the isles. Our team had the braaly hard task of selecting just 4 recipients from the submissions received….. and even after 4 years it does not get any easier!
These Workshop Bursaries will enable each of these artists to access specialist facilities and one-to-one support to explore new ideas and new ways of making at the Toogs Artist Workshop in Burra. These bursaries projects are made possible through the continuing support from Creative Scotland + Shetland Charitable Trust - thank you!
Bursaries will take place throughout 2023/24 and we look forward to sharing more from these artists on the Workshop Bursary Page, as well as on Gaada’s socials and newsletter.
However if you simply cannot wait - you can check out the posts below for Bursary recipients from previous years! ☟
